Privacy Policy
In short: your study data — cards, progress, streak, settings — stays on your device. It is never sent to our servers. No account is required. We do not sell, rent, or share data for advertising.
1. What stays on your device
Decks, cards, your own notes, review history, streak, statistics and all app settings are kept only in your device's local storage. We cannot see them. Deleting the app deletes this data too, so we recommend using the backup option under Settings → Collection.
2. The limited data we collect
Anonymous usage analytics (which screens are used, session length, app version, device model — aggregate numbers that cannot be traced back to a person and never include which words you know); crash reports (a technical trace when the app closes unexpectedly); support email (your address and message, kept as long as needed to resolve the request, never used for marketing); purchase status (whether Memki Pro was bought — read from the store). Analytics and crash reports are collected using Google Firebase (Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics); Google processes this data on our behalf as a data processor under the Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms. You can turn analytics and crash reporting off at any time under Settings in the app.
3. What we do not collect
We do not collect your name, your email (unless you write to us), phone number, location, contacts, photos, advertising identifier or device identifier. There are no ads and no third-party ad trackers in the app.
4. iCloud and device backups
If you use your device's own backup feature (iCloud or Google backup), app data may be copied to your own cloud account. That backup belongs to you; we have no access to it and it is governed by the relevant platform's privacy policy.
5. Purchases
Memki Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Your card details never reach us; payment data is processed only by the store. The app reads only whether the purchase exists.
6. Children's privacy
Memki does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe such data has reached us, write to support@memkiapp.com and we will delete it and confirm.
7. Your rights and deletion
Because study data lives on your device, access and deletion are entirely in your hands: deleting the app removes it. To have analytics data or support correspondence deleted, or to request a copy, use the data deletion request page.
8. Changes
If we update this policy we will change the “last updated” date on this page. For a significant change we will also notify you inside the app.
